Friday is here and as many of us get ready to have a nice Father's Day weekend, there is much to do. Bass season opens for catch and keep tomorrow morning, so maybe fishing with dad is the right play. There are farmer's markets open all over the county, especially in Hamilton and Cazenovia. The local field greens are fantastic right now. Of course Canal Fest takes center stage in Chittenango on Sunday too. Here is a rundown of things happening in the county this weekend:

Sunday: EUROCAR 2011 The MG Car Club of Central NY presents Euro Car 2011 on the graceful lawns of Lorenzo State Historic Site on Route 20 in Cazenovia, 9am-3pm, open to all vehicles and motorcycles of European make. Free spectator admission.
Sunday: Canal Fest 2011 in Chittenango from noon until 5 PM. Many fun family activities, Chicken BBQ noon until gone, music, Erie Canal Cloggers, magic show, wagon rides raffles and more. All buildings open for viewing includes demo on blacksmithing, boat building, alpacas, kids' games, refreshments. See our website for times and full schedule of events. Admission: $5 adults, $3 members, 12 and under free.
Sunday Rotary and HBA Father's Day Pancake Breakfast
Sunday, June 19 from 08:00am-1:00pm the Hamilton Business Alliance and the Hamilton Rotary join forces for another great Pancake Tribute to Dad. The event will take place at the Colgate Inn, 1 Payne St. Advance tickets are $7 and can be purchased from any Rotary or HBA member.
