After a slow start to the leaf peeping season in Madison County, the change is starting to move forward. This weekend you will find only about 20% of peak color in the county, but the 20% you will see is looking to be quite bright and brilliant. You will be driving down the road looking at mostly green, but the a bright red or orange tree will stand right out. The drive along US Route 20 this weekend will be especially nice.
