Before you know it Mother's Day will be here.  This year we honor Mom on May 9th and she will be expecting something special.  Why go to the same old place in Utica or Syracuse for brunch or dinner when Madison County has so many great restaurants to offer.  Many of them will be offering special mother's day brunches or menus.  We will detail the ones that we know about after the jump.  So come along and plan your Mother's Day brunch right here in Madison County.

The Colgate Inn in Hamilton will be having their usual brunch buffet.  They are serving from 10am until 2pm and it is $23.95 for adults and $10.95 for children under 12.  Enjoy fresh fruits, carved meats, smoked salmon, made to order omelets and more.  The entire menu can be seen right here.   You will need reservations, so call them today at 315-824-2300.
Maybe Sunday doesn't work for you and your mom and you'd rather take her to dinner on Saturday evening.  Zabroso restaurant inside the Oneida Community Mansion House has a special Mother's Day eve menu.  They are open from 4pm-10pm and you can make a reservation on their webpage or by calling 315-363-3360.
The Lincklaen House in Cazenovia always has a great brunch and its even more special on Mother's Day.  Their buffet will be hot from 9am until 1pm and it is $11.95 per person. You can check out the menu and we recommend you make reservations.  Give them a call at 315-655-3461.
The Brewster Inn in Cazenovia continues its tradition of Mother's Day Dinner.  You can reserve a table at the inn from Noon until 8pm on Sunday and order off their special menu.  Call them at 315-655-9232 to make those reservations.
The Poolville Country Store, a legendary gem in Madison County, will be offering brunch and dinner at the restaurant.  Brunch is served from 10:30 until 12:30 and dinner from 1 until 5.  Specials on the menu that day include seafood from Hawaii, their famous bouillabaise (shrimp, lobster, clams and assorted seafood in a saffron sauce) plus they will be debuting their new Spring Menu.  Reservations can be made by calling them at 315-691-2677.
The Brae Loch Inn in Cazenovia will also be hosting a brunch for Mother's Day.  It features ham, lamb, beef, breakfast items, including eggs benedict, bacon, homefries, lasagna, chicken divan, fresh fruit and a table full of desserts.  You can see the full menu here.
